The department of Zoology was established in 1996. This department offers degree courses as per the prescribe syllabus of Dibrugarh University respectively.

To inculcate amongst the students the highest values of life, respect for nature and make them able to contribute effectively for their welfare and society in this dynamic era.
Mission :
1. Department of zoology is to produce highly motivated graduate students which will be able to contribute towards sustainable development, well being of mankind and conservation of natural resourses.
